Patient Emergency Policy
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911, or go to your local hospital ER for evaluation.  You may also contact  211.  If your phone has problems accessing either of these, you may call the National Suicide Hotline number at  1-800-273-8255.
Currently Louise McMillan works with adults in an individual setting.  While a client may be taking prescribed medication during the course of treatment, therapies she utilizes do not use medication.  Louise tailors treatment to the individual’s desired outcome(s) with a variety of therapeutic approaches.  Some of the therapies include:  Neurofeedback, Rapid Resolution, Gestalt, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

About Your Clinician Louise McMillan, MSW, LCSW

Louise McMillan graduated from Indiana University with her Masters Degree in Social Work in 1993 with an additional three years at the Gestalt Institute of Indianapolis.  Her experience includes working with adults in settings such as community mental health, private practice, hospice and home health care.  Her areas of expertise include counseling individuals who present with concerns of trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, anger, obsessive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, inattentiveness, addictions, Bipolar Disorder and stress related to family of origin, current family, work and socializing.

The focus of treatment is for a client to meet their goals and flourish in their own environment; hence, Louise’s goal is to work herself out of a job with each client.
